Infants through 5th Grade Way Station – Prepares for Christmas! During this month at Way Station Depot, we continue to learn our songs for the 5:30 Christmas Eve worship service so join us in the art room at 9:15 for singing and snack then go to their classes at 9:30. We’ll have a special rehearsal for the service on Dec. 18 during Way Station. Since Christmas falls on a Sunday, there will not be any Way Station that morning, but we will have a movie together on Jan. 1. 5:30 Family Christmas Eve Worship We will continue with the tradition of the Christmas Eve 5:30 worship service being an opportunity for the children to help lead us in worship of the newborn Savior. This year the kids will be participating in a different way as we explore the “Whys” of Christmas. We will be rehearsing with the children (2 year olds – 5th grade) for the Sundays in December during Way Station time. We will have a rehearsal during Way Station on Sun., Dec. 18 and a dress rehearsal on Wed., Dec. 21 with a pizza party for the whole family at 5:30 followed by a rehearsal from 6:15-7:30. If you want to help with music, props, costuming, or technology, contact Lori Schwan. All children are welcome. Make sure your family has the CD so they can practice. Wednesday Parenting Class They will be taking a break for the month of December during Advent, but resuming in January. Wednesday Serving Opportunity Do you have desire to support parents who are trying to be the best parent and spouse they can be? We no longer have any assistance in taking care of about 8 children ranging from 1-9 during Wednesday night Bible studies. We could use a few people even if they would rotate from week to week now through the end of this month. If you can assist from 5:45-8:15, please contact Lori Schwan 939-4711 x 224. |
